Hello there,

My name is Missy Ames and I’m a trained art educator, artist and creative director with over 20 years of experience. I currently work as the Creative Director at Maverik, which is a convenience store chain based out of Salt Lake City. I never would have thought as a kid I would be working creatively for a gas station, but if you’ve ever been to a Maverik you’ll know that it is a special company and they spend a lot on making their brand a unique experience.

In my free time, I love connecting with people through art. Teaching and mentoring are a big part of who I am—I get so much joy from helping others grow and seeing creative sparks turn into something amazing. Whether I’m designing, teaching, or just doodling for fun, I’m all about using art and design to make meaningful connections.
